Uses of Cosmetics
When someone is putting labels on cosmetics, they need to make sure that the uses of the cosmetic are included in the Cosmetic Labeling. This is important so that someone does not misuse a product and have something happen to them. The Food and Drug Administration wants manufacturers to make sure that their product is safe for consumers. They do not want something on the market that has not been tested for safety. Aerosol products need to have a statement about misuse of a product. This informs people of what they need to pay attention to when they are using a product. Dangers of misuse are identified.
