Once you decide that you want to be a chef, then you need to find out what do you need to become a chef. You need to make sure that you can cook not only for your friends but also professionally. Being a chef is hard work, and you have to be able to start at the bottom and work your way up. You need to have the motivation to put the time in and be willing to work on your skills. Also, you need to be able to take criticism as a learning tool. If you have the skills and motivation, then you will be a successful chef.
