Must Have Clear Decision

Communication and a clear judgment on your part are necessary. The emotional affairs is unfair to your partner because it is a union that should be happening within the relationship, and if this person is unwilling to meet this need, you should either learn to live with it or find a better mate.

If they are simply unable to meet this need, to connect with you emotionally, it’s unfair to them to stay while you are leaking energy outside of the relationship without them knowing. The affair is of course unfair to you because you are splitting your consciousness into different sections, and alienating these sections from each other.
