Learning Before the Wedding

I had never been in a wedding before, and had never rented a tuxedo when I was in high school.  When I went to get fitted for a tux, I thought they would measure my arms and legs, and they would order me a jacket, vest, and pants to rent.  I did not know about the other things that come with the suit.  Someone at the rental store had to show me how to wear cufflinks as I had never worn them before.  At first I was just going to try wearing them how I thought they should be worn, but I decided to ask.  This was a good choice as I would have worn them the wrong way to the wedding.
